Ce sont près de 40 participants anglophones qui se sont réunis au Pays de Gâtine le jeudi 31 mars dernier pour une réunion sur la thématique de « la Recherche d’emploi».

Cette réunion initiée par le « European working group » s’inscrit dans le cadre de la mission d’accueil des populations nord européennes de Julia SALVAT et répond aux préoccupations de nombreux nouveaux habitants du territoire.

L’objectif de cette rencontre, co-animée par Sandrine LUSSEAU et Josélita JAVALOYES du PLIE (Plan Local pour l’Insertion et l’Emploi), était de présenter les démarches à accomplir pour engager une recherche d’emploi.

Les participants sont repartis avec les coordonnées de l’ensemble des acteurs intervenant sur le champ de l’insertion sociale et professionnelle présents sur le territoire et pouvant être un appui dans leur parcours.

A bi-lingual presentation "Looking for work in the Gâtine" (04/04/2011)
On 31st March 2011, the Pays de Gâtine organized a meeting about how to look for work in the area. It was attended by 40 English speaking people living in the Gatine.

The idea for the meeting came from "The European Working Group", (a group of volunteers who meet every 6 weeks in the Pays to discuss ideas for integration). The group has been set up by Julia SALVAT who works on welcoming and integrating the large number of British, Dutch, Germans etc., who have decided to come and live in the Gâtine.

The object of the meeting, presented by Sandrine LUSSEAU, Josélita JAVALOYES from the PLIE (Plan Local pour l’Insertion et l’Emploi) and Julia, was to explain the different steps to undertake when looking for a job.

The participants left with the addresses of all the different offices who could help them, whether it be learning the language, social assistants, the job centre, temporary agencies...
